Herbaceous seedling (5-15 cm.). Hairy erect stems; basal leaves petiolate, triple, doubly trifid. Terminal flowers solitary with 8-10 oval white tepals, reddish below. Numerous yellow stamens. Flower. : VI - VIII. It grows in the high mountains on pastures and limestone debris.
