The Agromonte-Spacciaboschi State Anthropological and Natural Reserve, halfway between Potenza and Melfi, involves a 51 hectare deciduous forest in the Municipality of Filiano (PZ).
Agromonte-Spacciaboschi State Anthropological and Natural Reserve
The forest consists of Turkey oaks and downy oaks with hawthorn, hornbeam, dogwood and bramble undergrowth. Inside the area there is a walled tower and the remains of a Byzantine church. There are sightings of wolves and many species of birds of prey.
